Vancouver International Airport (YVR) has expanded its culinary offerings with the launch of Lucky Lily Asian Brasserie, a new restaurant located in the domestic terminal. The establishment is helmed by Chef Nicole Gomes, known for winning season one of Top Chef Canada: All-Stars and her tenure as a finalist on Iron Chef Gauntlet.

Gomes, who also co-founded the Calgary-based fried chicken restaurant Cluck N Cleaver and Wander Kitchen & Bar at Calgary Airport, designed the menu to reflect diverse Asian flavors. The concept operates as both a sit-down destination and a grab-and-go outlet for travelers.

The menu features dishes inspired by Thai, Vietnamese, and Hong Kong cuisines. Appetizers include Chicken Sesame Slaw, Citrus-forward Crispy Thai Wings, house-made Vietnamese Meatballs with pork and jicama in an Asian tomato sauce, and Spicy Wontons served with chili oil. The Chicken Sesame Slaw is available for takeaway.

Main courses highlight the Karaage Burger, which typically includes lettuce, Havarti cheese, and togarashi mayo, though it was served as sliders during a recent media event. Other options include the Bangkok Bowl, featuring lemongrass red coconut curry with chicken and jasmine rice, and Cold Sesame Noodles made with noodles from the 40-year-old Double Happiness factory in Chinatown.

Dessert offerings include Salted Lava Buns. The breakfast menu features Hong Kong French Toast stuffed with peanut butter and topped with banana, almonds, and condensed milk custard.

Lucky Lily is located inside the YVR domestic terminal near gate C46 at 3211 Grant McConachie Way in Richmond. Access to the restaurant requires a valid boarding pass for the domestic terminal.
